About this site

Mystery Commander is an independent fan reference for Magic: The Gathering rules, cards, and product comparisons. Reading the guides is free and does not require an account. This policy covers the public guides and any account features you choose to use.

Browser preferences

The site may store language and display preferences in browser storage or a preference cookie. Clearing this site's browser storage removes those stored preferences.

Optional accounts

If you choose to use the site's account features, the service stores the email address and account information you provide, together with authentication and session records needed to sign you in. Authentication may use a session cookie. Public guides remain available without signing in. Keep your account credentials private.

Hosting and external links

Requests to the site necessarily send technical information, such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser headers, to the service handling the request. Hosting infrastructure may keep operational logs for security and troubleshooting. We do not use this information to offer a public browsing profile.

Links to Wizards of the Coast, card databases, and community discussions take you to other services. Those services apply their own privacy policies. Loading an image hosted by another service also sends a request to that service.

Analytics, advertising, and email

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-4SQFC0DMWG) to understand visits to the guides. The Google tag loads from www.googletagmanager.com and sends usage events to Google according to the site's consent settings. See Google's Privacy Policy for information about Google's handling of data. Advertising providers, if introduced, will be identified in this policy before they are enabled. The site does not currently offer an email newsletter or automatic email update service. There is no subscription payment required to read the guides.

Managing your information

You can remove local bookmarks and preferences through your browser's controls for this site's storage and cookies. If you have an account, use the available account settings to review or change the information supported there. Do not send passwords or other secrets through public feedback channels.
